Titled 'In Praise of Shadows,' the designer Hiromi Taylor draws inspiration from the Japanese art of Horimono (彫り物, 彫物) — traditional full-body tattoos that are typically kept private. My role was to help assist Hiromi while she completed her collection. Including; cutting, construction of final garments, pattern cutting, styling, technical drawings, capturing content of behind the scenes, assisting on the collections photoshoot and fashion show.
